I started Desinyx in 2017 to manage my various side projects. I provided a variety of UX design, research, QA work, and creative design services.
As the only researcher on the project, I designed, ran, and analyzed a baseline and follow-up usability test for a transit client. The test goal was to improve user experience when looking for transit information (I.E. bus schedules, nearby stops, directions, etc.) on the mobile website. The work culminated in a presentation to internal and external stakeholders, combined with list of actionable design recommendations to improve the site.
All sessions were unmoderated, remote, and recorded on usertesting.com; I set up the study and recruited through their platform.
After finishing a contract position with Special Conversions in 2016, I shifted into a vendor role with a related team, Amazon Publishing. I am doing similar work with their Kindle in Motion titles:
