Sabina Cao
Seattle-area researcher, designer, and maker with constantly changing hair color

I've always known I wanted to create. But the what, where, and how has changed drastically over time. What initially started as a photography and writing hobby led me to a passion to craft journeys that the user can not only see but evocatively experience - through touch, movement, sound, and more. More recently, I have felt the passion for evaluative and generative research to design better and faster.

I strongly value thinking outside of the box, interdisciplinary collaboration, and iterative design (though there's something to be said about getting it "right" the first time!).

My current non-work obsessions:

  • Raising my rambunctious demon-dog, Pazuzu
  • Trying to figure out the key to the perfect sourdough loaf
  • Keeping six hens happy and laying in our backyard coop
  • Cooking hearty soups and other Fall comfort foods
